Tonight we had our first real Family Home Evening. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that. We've always kind of gone with the philosophy that every night is family night at our house because our kids are young and we are usually all home together. But we realized we needed to put a little more effort into having a formal FHE and teach a lesson, etc. We started tonight with the Book of Mormon stories and talked about Lehi's family leaving Jerusalem (the block city) and pitching their (paper) tents in the wilderness. Then we played Jenga and ate cookies. Isaac loved it and Luke is always happy when cookies are involved.
