We had plans to spend the day at the beach, but woke up to rain that lasted through most of the afternoon. Luckily it cleared up by the evening and so we settled for a beach bonfire instead. We stayed until the kids started getting restless and the fire was dying down. After we packed up we went for a walk down the pier, and then across the street to the fun zone where we ended up riding the ferris wheel. Luke was super excited about the "big wheel" which he insisted was a "roller coaster." The simple pleasures of life are even more enjoyable when you have such an enthusiastic little companion by your side!
