Today we got the sunny beach day that our visitors were hoping for. Since they are coming from snowy and freezing cold Utah, I can imagine that this was quite the treat. We headed to our usual spot at Crescent Bay in Laguna Beach. Chris & Ginny braved the icy waters, while the rest of us relaxed on the sand, built castles, explored the tide pools, and ate lunch.
Tonight we visited Fashion Island and the enormous Christmas tree. We took turns splitting off and going into stores while the kids played at the fish pond, the water fountains, and climbed on the wooden presents around the tree.
